Dear Friends,
I am usually not one to spend a lot of time talking about myself and I would rather hear about
you and your walk with Jesus Christ, but I guess you might be wondering a thing or two about me.
Well, I grew up in a small town in Southern Ohio just east of Cincinnati, which might remind
you of the Andy Griffith Show's Mayberry due to it's charm and friendly people. I was raised in a
good Christian church and at the age of 10, I gave my life to the Lord at a revival service. Growing
up, I played just about every sport available and worked hard for most everything I personally
owned including my guitar. My mother was an awesome example of how to live a rewarding
Christian life since she had to be both mother and father, due to the passing of my dad, Robert,
when I was only 4 years old. Her strength and commitment to the Lord and to her children was
incredible. I never questioned God on His decision about my Dad and it forced us to stick together as
a family of three which includes my sister Beth, also a Christian Artist . God replaced any pain
with love and joy. Beth and I sang and played instruments in church until we went off to college
at Ohio State University. Playing in various bands and even singing in chorus, I was never
satisfied with music until I finally realized that I needed to play and sing music for the Lord.
After all, God gave me the abilities for His pleasure and purpose.
While living in Ohio, God blessed me with a wonderful wife, Rhonda, and two beautiful children,
Savannah and Carson. They inspire me and bring me so much joy and love! After moving to
Atlanta, Georgia from Cincinnati, Ohio, the Lord started to direct my path of music to the role of
Worship Leader. Through this experience, I have grown so much spiritually and have been
surrounded by good teaching, prayer, and a passion for worship. By the blessing of Holy Spirit,
many songs started to flow that were inspired by God during intimate times of worship and prayer.
Some of these songs are included on the new CD . If God provides the means in the future, I am
hoping to record the new songs that He has given me on a second CD project. Some of my favorite
Christian Artists are Chris Tomlin & anything from Passion, Matt Redman, Third Day, Paul
Baloche, Darrell Evans, Scott Underwood, David Ruis, Hillsong, United, Delirious, Tree63,
Sonicflood, and too many others to mention. Through Worship, God has revealed so many things to
me including how much He loves me, why he moved us to Georgia, and what God's purpose is for
my life. He has taught me that He wants a close personal relationship with me like a father to a
son and that I should not keep Him at a distance. His presence surrounds me daily and He hears
every prayer from my heart like it is His highest priority. He is a loving father that forgives me
when I "mess up" and is delighted when I do things right according to His will and purpose. He is
Awesome!! I am not a Christian because I am perfect now, I am a Christian because I am NOT
perfect and I need a forgiving God to save me from destruction. We all do!
If you don't already , you need to get to know him in a personal way and start living the
"abundant life!" God will give you hope, inner peace, love, and a zest for life that nothing on
this earth can give you. He demonstrates his love by giving us His son, Jesus Christ, to die for our
sins so that we may be able to enter heaven for eternity and avoid eternal darkness and
punishment. We have the chance right now to determine where we spend eternity so don't wait!
Ask Jesus into your heart today and secure your spot in Heaven and enjoy a greater life here on
earth. I promise it will be the best and most important thing you ever do. Decide now, before it is
